We are at a risk for severe weather today. It will be very unstable today. The storms will arrive late this afternoon. The storms are bringing drenching rains to Missouri right now. Here are the severe risks for this afternoon from the Storm Prediction Center. We are in the 15% risk for high winds today.

TS Emily fell apart over land and now is just some drenching rains that is good news for the US. I am headed to Coldwater today so I will not be posting this weekend.

The Heat May Finally Be Over

We may be in the 80s by Monday next week. Most forecasts have it in the 80s for at least 10 days. Just hope the 90s don’t return. There will also be chances for rain next week. Also it looks like we will have a la Nina this year. Which means lots of cold and snow. Yeah!

TS Emily could make some impact on SE Florida before turning back in to the Atlantic. It will likely make impact as a strong tropical storm. It should hit early saturday. Here is the 5 day track from the National Weather Service.

No Impact For TS Emily

There may be no impact from TS Emily in the US but the islands are getting pounded. The latest track from the NWS brings the track away from the coast, and most likely weakening as it approaches cooler waters. Probably never impacting the east coast, except for rain and high waves. Below is the latest track of TS Emily. There is a chance that there could be impact on the Outer Banks of NC.

Tuesday Update- Coldwater SATURDAY- 86 chance of storms between MIDNIGHT AND 11 AM. SUNDAY- 85 chance of storms between 12 PM and 5 PM

Monday Update- I’m looking forward to Coldwater and want to inform you of the weather. According to fahrenheit a mobile weather app… SATURDAY- 84… SUNDAY- 86. Sounds like great weather.
